1. Purpose

V.Vegas is committed to preventing the use of its platform for money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, and any other financial crime. This policy describes how Whitebox B.V., the licence holder behind V.Vegas, applies the standards of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, and applicable EU directives to its operations.

2. Scope

This policy applies to every Player, every transaction, and every staff member or agent acting on behalf of V.Vegas. By opening an account you accept that you may be asked to provide identity documents, proof of address, and proof of source of funds at any point during your relationship with us.

3. Customer Due Diligence (CDD)

At registration we collect basic profile information and screen the data against international sanctions, PEP, and adverse-media lists. Standard CDD documentation is requested before the first withdrawal and includes:

  • A government-issued ID (passport, driving licence, or national ID).
  • A utility bill, bank statement, or government letter no older than 90 days, showing your name and home address.
  • A screenshot or statement showing the payment method used to deposit (last four digits of the card or e-wallet account holder visible).

4. Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)

EDD is triggered when:

  • Cumulative deposits or withdrawals exceed EUR 2,000 in a 30-day window.
  • The Player is, or becomes, a politically exposed person.
  • The Player is based in a high-risk jurisdiction.
  • Activity does not match the profile declared at registration.
  • Source of funds or wealth needs to be evidenced.

EDD documentation may include payslips, employment contracts, audited accounts, tax returns, sale-of-property contracts, inheritance documents, or any other reasonable evidence of the lawful origin of the funds.

5. Ongoing Monitoring

All transactions are monitored in real time by automated rules and reviewed by our compliance team. We track deposit and withdrawal patterns, betting behaviour, IP and device changes, payment-method clustering, and any other indicator of unusual activity. Suspicious activity is escalated for manual review.

6. Reporting

Where suspicious activity is confirmed, we file a report with the Financial Intelligence Unit of Curaçao and any other competent authority. The Player is not informed about the report, in line with the law against tipping-off. We cooperate fully with law-enforcement requests supported by valid legal process.

7. Restricted Activities

The following are prohibited and will result in account closure plus, where required, regulatory reporting:

  • Use of payment methods that do not belong to the Player.
  • Use of stolen, cloned, or otherwise compromised cards.
  • Multi-account play, collusion, or chip-dumping.
  • Depositing only to withdraw with minimal play (zero-bet laundering).
  • Refusal to complete CDD or EDD when reasonably requested.
  • Providing false, forged, or altered documents.

8. Record Keeping

We retain identity documents, transaction records, communication logs, and risk assessments for at least 5 years after the end of the business relationship, in line with FATF Recommendation 11 and local AML law.

9. Staff Training

All V.Vegas staff with customer or transaction exposure complete AML and counter-terrorism-financing training at induction and at least annually thereafter. The Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) reports directly to the Board and is independent of commercial functions.
